From the Founder’s Pen

Well hello everyone, how has life been treating you? We have all been very busy here at ABM and we are looking forward to the holiday season. Food, family, and fun are always a part of the season. We have several new students and it is an exciting time to see God work not only in their lives but in ours also.

We have been studying in Matthew chapter 5 the beatitudes and it has been an eye opening experience. We have already covered the first 7 attitudes. Studying the Bible is always exciting and challenging at the same time. Just when we think we have arrived at some deeper understanding of who God is, we realize that we are not even close to where we need to be. This fact makes it hard to judge others in their short comings when we have so much work to do ourselves.

Our boys played soccer this past week and boy oh boy, I was so proud of the way they handled themselves on and off the field! We went to CiCi’s pizza after the game and people just kept looking at the team and how mature they were acting. Good job guys, way to go.

I would like to challenge every parent to ask questions of their child to find out how much you know about the dreams they really have, and at the same time tell them some of yours. What a neat way to show that you are thinking of them.
