What’s New

The first of the year we started a construction project in the cafeteria/school room. Mr. Reed, Mr. Larry and a few students, including me, did the majority of the work. A group of construction workers came to help. They did the electrical work and the spackling once we had the drywall up.

We added arches with pillars and framed the lower portion of the wall with chair rail and trim pieces to make decorative squares. Once it was complete, we painted it and now it looks very good.

I learned a lot of different things during the process and I think the other students got a lot out of this project also. By: Nick
