Let’s Talk Chickens

The chickens here, could be annoying as they may be. They lay more eggs than I’ve ever seen. I will tell you though, they is nothing like fresh eggs. This commodity, however it comes with a price.

The girls go out every morning and in the evening to take care of our fowls.

The older chicken don’t eat much, but the younger chicks always attack their food! There is one roaster, named “Sam” who is oh, so frustrating in an effort to protect his hens, he flies up and pecks us repeatedly whenever we enter the pen, but that’s a rooster for you.
