We Have Cows!

We have two calves that were given to us by a student’s family. We bottle-fed them from the time they got here. Recently the cows were moved to the field that the horses are in. We no longer give them bottles of milk so they eat a large amount of grass and there is more grass in the field than where they were before. It is too far away to walk to with all of the buckets of water so we ride on the back of a trailer attached to the truck.

The cows not too long ago got loose, so several students (with Mr. Larry telling us what to do) had to get them back in their fenced area. The cows are very cute farm animals, their names are Jack and Sadie Daisy.
