Happy Birthday, Mrs. Carmen

On Monday September the 14th we celebrated Mrs. Carmen’s Birthday (we won’t disclose the # because it could be life threatening). If there was a special birthday to be had for someone this was definitely it. Every day, all year long, Mrs. Carmen gives us her all and on this day it was our chance to let her know just how important she is to us. If anyone knows Mrs. Carmen then you know she likes things to be done right so, of course, she had to make a list of what she wanted for her birthday and boy did we deliver. For starters we had her favorite song of all time; “Somewhere over The Rainbow” sung to her by four of our boys….who of course were hand selected by her majesty herself. Next, she even got visited by her favorite character from the Star Wars Saga, the one and only Darth Vader, who of course had to mention her actual known age. Darth took the first ship back when he saw her eyes burst with flames.

Then we all got to try a piece of the wonderfully created Hershey Chocolate cake that Mrs. Beth and Mr. Reed spent all morning decorating. Man oh man was it good!

Last we got to watch as Mrs. Carmen opened the mountain of presents she received. One for every year she has been around……Hence the Mountain!

All in all she had a wonderful day and we are lucky to have spent it with her.
