The Playful Piglets
On Monday, September 21st, the girls of ABM experienced something quite different from our everyday lives. We were given the opportunity to visit a Mennonite home. We all learned about how they live and about all their different animals. The one thing I found most interesting was the pig. They were much bigger than the pigs we have here at school. There were about twenty mother pigs called sows, and about twelve to fifteen piglets to each. The piglets were under two weeks old. We even got the chance to hold the baby pigs and have our pictures taken. I found it funny that while holding the pigs, one of the girls got tinkled on! This whole experience is something I will always remember.
