Dear Staff at ABM Ministries,
It has been a week since Kaelan came back and I can honestly say that the results my husband and I have seen have surpassed our expectations. There are no words I can use to show my deep appreciation for giving us our son back. A year ago exactly, I was coming back from picking Kaelan up from one of the many places he had been kicked out because of his disruptive behavior, attitude and defiance. We had tried everything I thought…even prescription drugs. That day, on our trip back home; I started searching the internet on my phone and making phone calls to places where they promised a complete change in your child by the end of the program. I remember one lasting a month! We were so desperate that we considered doing just that. I prayed that I find the right place to send him where they could teach him the values we always had wanted to instill in him. When I came across ABM's website I know that God had sent me express mail. Sending him to ABM was the hardest decision we have ever made and the wisest. I would have never imagined giving Kaelan a list of chores to complete by the end of the day and accomplishing every one of them. Before, getting him to eat anything that resembled a vegetable was a big task. Today he is the healthiest he's ever been, eating vegetables and fruits and feeling good about himself. He's learned to appreciate everything that is given to him and no longer demands. Our family is happy again and we owe it all to ABM. Thank you again for your dedication to changing the lives of not only the kids that come to your school but of their families such as ours.
